Gabriel is a 2021 graduate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School that emigrated to Michigan from Puerto Rico in 2018 to pursue a legal career. As of May 2022, he is an active member of the Michigan Bar Association. Shortly after graduating, Gabriel worked as an eviction defense attorney at Legal Aid of Western Michigan where he represented clients in landlord-tenant cases, working as defense counsel for tenants that faced eviction from their homes. His advocacy helped his clients prevent evictions and also worked to preserve their access to subsidized housing in various counties, such as Ionia and Kent County.
When not serving his clients, Gabriel enjoys being in nature, visiting museums, art, reading and learning about ancient history to learn a bit of wisdom as well for his growth and self-development.
